It is a very good web site

Most everything I have read so far on it, I was aware of the ideas, I have known of several of the people for several years, yet several I didn't know about.

I will try to read all of the info they provide.

Most of the info goes along with what I have learned over the years to be True, but I need to read it all.

It is a wonderful site as you say.

Enjoy and remember to think outside the Box, no matter what anyone else says, AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED FOR IT.

please find fault in this machine
« Reply #16 on: February 07, 2006, 02:34:15 AM »
now im no scientist, so please excuse my ignorance in places. i am one of those tinkerers that hope after much trial and error, a perpetual motion machine will appear in front of me. i do respect the laws of science, mostly i just find it challenging and fun to think out the box.

i need someone to tell me where the loop hole is in this idea, (because my feeble physics can't see it)..
A pendulum uses the force of gravity to pull it down, and its momentum to push it back up. ie: gravitational potential energy is converted to kinetic energy and back again. in a world of no friction, this would be the only conversion of energy. (is this right?)

then lets remove the friction. lets put the pendulum device in a vacuum chamber. no air resistance. next (now im not sure of the physics and dynamics of magnets, so here goes..), where the pendulum would usually connect to the pivot, create an arrangement of magnets, such that the pendulum does not touch the base yet is still suspended from a fixed point. the magnet arrangement would not promote nor push the pendulum to any resting position, but be completely neutral to the motion of the pendulum. there goes friction.

can a complete vacuum be created in a lab environment?
surely a circular arrangement of magnets could be formed to create the 'cradle' described above.

sorry; by the way, this is not meant to be an over unity machine, yet still a perpetual motion machine in the sense of the word.

Perpetual Motion ..Well  motion  for  a long  time. Lets put it  that  way. If its  a machiene  its  gonna break  or need  service  . Bottom line  it will have  to stop at  some point .  So  does  this  bring it  down  to  a part  time  perpetual machiene? Ok  lets  go larger   our galixy  . Its in  a constant spin  in  space. But forever?  No at  some point  it  will eventualy  collapse in on itself  and  explode again .  So  then  is  this  repeted  collapsing  and  exploding over eons of eons   perpetual motion  ?  Yes it is . However  there is no way  to  put  this  unfantomable  amount of  energy to our  misiscule use. It all comes  down  to  gravity, momentum and inershia. Or the  correct amount of  Magnetic  flux,  rotation, and  counter weight or inturnal  gravity.  If  you had  a long enough  rope  in space  and  spun it over  your head and kept  feeding it out  ,at  some point  as  the  rope  got longer  and longer   ,somewhere  the  end of  that  rope  will reach light  speed in its arc . If  you  were able  to  tie it off  it  would  spin  at light  speed  for  ever...or until  the  galixy that it was in  collapsed.  Now  If  this  rope  was slung  with  the  rotation and  direction of  travel of our  galixy.  Would  the  end of the  rope reach light  speed  faster in  this  direction? YES. BUT  WHEN IT  REACH  APEX  THEN IT WOULD BE  SLOWER  BY  A LOT  GOING  BACKWARD  TO  THE  DIRECTION  AND  SPIN OF OUR  GALIXY. So  then  motion is  a point of perception. Spinning  the  rope  at  the  center of  the  hub  knowing  the  length is  right  to reach light  speed  at  the  end   but  standing back  watching  the rope  spin  with our  galixies  path  and  rotation   it exceeds  light  speed one way (in  direction of travel)  and is  very  slow on  the back  side ,aginst  the  direction  and  rotation. If it  were  spun  at  90  degrees  to  the  axis of  rotation.  would  the  end  speed be  constant ? How  do  you know if  the  entire precived  universe  is  not  moving  in a certain  direction...which  way ?  is our  galixy  actualy  going backwards  to  this  direction ? at what  speed is our  rope  end now ?      Here is  the  question  of  perpetual  motion  Is it constant , or varable or  consistantly varable .
In which orentation  should it  be  placed  for maxinum benifet or  gain  to  overcome  the  back  side  momentum.  Our planents and  galixies  spin  frictionless  in  vacume of space so  should our  perpetual  machines. Maginetisun  is  the  micro gravity  and  counter  weight is  the  fuel.

No offence here, but as soon as the word "GALIXY" jumped out at me, i didn't even bother reading that.

OF COURSE peretual motion is possible!!! an object rotating in a zero gravity vaccum would continue forever X(:X !!!

But such an object remains at a constant energy level (kinetic and potential). To do work (and use energy), there must be a change in energy level. So the planet would have to change its average speed or orbital radius. Sooner or later, if energy is continuously extracted from a planet's orbital motion, the planet will either fall into the object it orbits, increase orbital radius indefinitely, or reach escape velocity & stop orbiting.

Perpetual motion is just a matter of choosing the least visible fuel source

Sorry for the double post. Also, it should have said "if energy is continuously extracted from a planet's orbital motion, the planet will fall into the object it orbits.". I was thinking, "if it's energy is increased or decreased" when I wrote that. Blah. Nevermind. =)

Basically, it's perpetual *motion*, yes, but it's not perpetual energy transfer, as far as I can tell. Blah x 2.

PURPETUAL MOTION IS POSSIBLE!
« Reply #27 on: October 14, 2006, 03:38:21 PM »
Purpetual motion is: using Energy to develeope and maifest a devise that can efficiantly and quickly generate or Re-create the same type of energy and Restore the amout  used. Then It would continusly, with out stoping, create and store energy with out fuel, friction, or heat . . .with no unusable waste.

That is a Pipe Dream, or Ideal Generator.

But I agree with alot of you who posted that True Perpetual motion might be improbable to be harnessed by humans. . .

Mainly only because of the Scale the devise would need to be .  for tru pupetual motion: look into space, the infinate cosmos!  there you will see increadably efficiant "Gravity" Generators. . .  Black holes- they suposedly generate waste that is only 1 singuarity in mass (correct me if I am wrong).

humans wont have time to develope that scale of technology . .  atleast not before the next Ice Age.  Because Earth Has been Postponing it for our developement.  but we could invent massive static electric Generators that would produce enough O3zone, then if it was collaberated large scale over the whole planet. . .  then:

Humans could save the Earth by giving the atmoshpere an Ozone Boost.
neet

but that is for a nother day.

To create a "Virtual" Purpetual Motion machine ( which then would obvioulsy be harnesed to generate energy for human use.)

Virtual- meaning that the machine wouldn't be as efficiant as the Purpetual motion
but, It could generate large amount of energy, with out adding additional fuel, besides the materials used to manifest it.  Also, the life span would be about 200-300 year duribility.

that would be an increadable investment for anyone

Expecially since conbustion engines are of low efficiancy. .  ANd High Prices! I refuse to pay gas and insurrance prices. . .
Alternitive fuels are great. . . as clean as possable.

the machine could even be used to power large scale cities with a small machine.
yes it is a machine with moving parts.
but NO FRICTION

THink about potential energy . . . what Earthly Materials hold Potential?

you are right the theory with the rope rotating(if I understand) could work, exept there are many gravitation forces at work in our galaxy and the rope would have to be strait and much longer that the limits of our solar system.
As an estimation how long would the rope have to travel to reach that "Light Speed"
anyways the material used would have to withstand great tention and possable heat,(yes its possable at that speed)

how would the rope be diverted from collision or gravity pull  through out our known universe.?
or how would a generator be attached? or with stande great speed?

sory to poke holes in the Theory but, that is how I can further its development.

This is a bit of fun I had and i am not fuly able to test this any further. Maby the magnet is degausing or the fact that the earths magnetic feild is ever changing and is suplyed by a internal not fuly understood power sorce this may not qualifiy as perpetual but it does have a lot of potential for a good desk top toy.First I took a rare earth magnet that weighed about .5 lb. and was able to lift aboute 25lb then i used a gram scale that went to.0001 gram. I fashened a wooden beam balance that kept the magnet 36 inches from the scale wile alowing the scale to weigh the magnet. When the magnet was pointing with the north pole up and was weighed the scale was zeroed then when you flipthe north pole down. the weight was a considderable bit diferent. I dont remember what it was but it seamed like 100 mg. or more. If anyone cares i can set it up again some time for a spesific weight. The magnet was coupeling to the earths magnetic field. no surprise there. I then glued the magnet to a styrafome disk. This is not the materials that would be useing if you wanted the thing to last but it proved the point. after shaving the styrafome a bit it sank with the poles one way and floated the other and moved rather surprisingly quickly. I did not try to mechanicly  fliping this asmbly over but if the material was replaced with something like glass that was impervious to water or minor compresion this thing will sink quite deaply and when fliped will float back. Again i dont know that in years the magnet wont degause or that the earths magnetic fiend wont dye out in time but this thing does float and sink without any change in its make up other than to be fliped over. It will never probuce a watt unles of corse you use a magnet the size of a battle ship but if it were bilt to work in miniture it might make a realy neat conversation peice. Hope this is not to far off toppc.
